End of year report

End of year report from Teacher Margaret

Jambo, we have come to the end of year 2015 and we thank God for this far he has brought us. 

We also thank our friends, family and supporters for your continued support both financially, through a word of advice and all you who gave gifts towards Happy Day Junior School. Be blessed. We at Happy Day do appreciate any assistance that is accorded to us in any form. You help put a smile on the kids and everyone at Happy Day. 

We have made some Christmas cards and some collage items for our supporters. Titus is currently in Kenya and we will give the presents to him to bring back to Norway. The kids made them during the closing week. We are amazed that some of them have talents that we werent aware of!

Thanks for enabling us to hold a successful graduation ceremony. It was such a beautiful event and very unforgettable. On the same day we has a Christmas party for all of us at Happy Day. There was food, snacks,drinks and presents for everyone. We again say thank you very much for your great support. 

This year has been full of ups and downs for the education sector in Kenya but we finished the government school syllabus on time. 

The financial budget is as follows 

Salaries                     50,000 KSH 

Govn License            20,000 KSH 

County Gvnt licence  15,000 KSH

Health licence            15,000 KSH 

Insurance                  14,000 KSH 

TOTAL                   114,000 KSH

I already have 20,000 for licencing which was sent to me together with the graduation money. So it is 114,000 minus 20,000 so the balance is 94,000 Kenya shillings.

We would like to pay for the 2016 licences during the month of December so as to avoid long queue in January.
