Trust you all had a good day. I had a good day though I didn't report to school due to backache. Our first term is going on well so far and we have seen lots of improvement in the school. Marianne and I have been visiting our kids homes and we have experienced and seen how they live. Marianne has shared some pictures and videos depicting the situations we encountered in our walks. She has also been able to get more sponsors for individual children. Thanks a lot mama Damian.
This term we are initiating a tea program so that the kids can be getting tea very early in the morning (before lessons). This idea was brought about by Marianne after we had visited homes and we found out that most kids come to school on empty stomach. Now kids will be taking tea at 7:30am, Porridge at 11am and Lunch at 1pm. That will ensure that even if they don't get food at home they are not in a bad situation.
