Monthly report for November

Jambo to you all, we at Happy Day are OK and we are preparing for the end of year exams which will be done in three weeks time. We are doing revisions because we have already completed the school syllabus.

Our feeding program is on going even though food prices have gone up. Especially this term has been a big challenge to me. Like for example last week thursday and friday I had to find ways and means of feeding the school kids because we had no food, it got finished on Wednesday. Today is also a big challenge to me. We say thank you to Marianne and Dan for always finding time to come and visit the school. We are always very happy when we have visitors. Our monthly budget still remains the same.

At the end of this term there will be a ceremony for the pre-unit kids. We will have some food and small gifts for the kids. The budget for the ceremony will be:

Gowns: 6000 KSH

Certificates: 5000 KSH 

Presents: 5000 KSH

Drinks and snacks: 3000 KSH

TOTAL: 19000 KSH
